Conversations & history
Resume past chats, pin favorites, and search your history.
Every chat you start is saved. You can return to it later, share it with a teammate (in entity context), or pin it so it stays at the top of the list.
Open a past conversation
- Open the chat sidebar (left rail).
- Conversations are listed in reverse-chronological order, grouped by day.
- Click a conversation to resume it. TaxFigure rehydrates the full thread, including any attached documents and entity context.
Start a new conversation
Click + New chat at the top of the sidebar, or press the shortcut
Cmd+K (Mac) / Ctrl+K (Windows).
Pin a conversation
Hover the conversation in the sidebar and click the pin icon. Pinned conversations stay at the top of the list. Use this for ongoing research threads you'll return to often.
Search your history
The search box at the top of the sidebar matches both conversation titles and message content. Filters let you narrow by date range, entity, or chat mode.
Delete a conversation
Hover the conversation in the sidebar, click the ⋯ menu, and pick Delete. Deletes are soft — they're recoverable from Settings → History for 30 days before being purged.
